Journal Submission Guidelines

The STRATI Journal of Public Health Systems is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in the design, implementation, and evaluation of public health systems worldwide. It provides an interdisciplinary platform for academics, policymakers, health professionals, and practitioners to explore innovations, reforms, and evidence-based strategies that strengthen public health systems and improve population health outcomes.

The journal focuses on how public health systems function at local, national, and global levels, covering governance, financing, workforce development, service delivery, surveillance, health information systems, and emergency preparedness. It encourages contributions that analyze the interplay between policy, practice, and population health outcomes, highlighting the importance of resilient, equitable, and sustainable health systems.

The Journal aims to:

  • Advance theoretical and applied research on the structure, performance, and resilience of public health systems.
  • Promote interdisciplinary dialogue between public health, economics, political science, management, epidemiology, and social sciences.
  • Highlight policy innovations, reforms, and best practices that enhance equity, efficiency, and effectiveness in public health delivery.
  • Provide actionable evidence for policymakers, health administrators, and development agencies to strengthen public health governance and capacity.
  • Address challenges and opportunities in integrating universal health coverage (UHC), primary health care, and public health functions.

Its scope spans a wide range of system-level topics, from health policy analysis to operational frameworks, with emphasis on low- and middle-income countries as well as global comparative perspectives.
