Journal Submission Guidelines

The STRATI Journal of Nutrition and Human Welfare is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal that focuses on the intersections between nutrition, health, and overall human well-being. The journal provides a platform for high-quality research, policy analysis, and practical interventions that address the nutritional determinants of health, sustainable food systems, and equitable access to adequate nutrition.

It welcomes contributions from diverse disciplines—including nutrition science, public health, agriculture, food policy, economics, behavioral science, and social sciences—that address the role of nutrition in promoting physical, mental, and social well-being. The journal places a strong emphasis on the life-course approach, from maternal and child nutrition to aging populations, and on addressing malnutrition in all its forms (undernutrition, micronutrient deficiencies, and overnutrition).

The Journal aims to:

  • Promote interdisciplinary research that links nutrition, health systems, and human development.
  • Advance knowledge on the nutritional determinants of health and well-being across the life course.
  • Provide evidence for designing and evaluating nutrition policies and programs that improve human welfare.
  • Examine the role of food systems, agriculture, and environmental sustainability in ensuring nutritional security.
  • Highlight strategies for tackling malnutrition, obesity, and diet-related non-communicable diseases.
  • Encourage community-based, culturally appropriate nutrition interventions and innovations.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, research on nutritional epidemiology, public health nutrition, sustainable diets, behavioral aspects of nutrition, and the integration of nutrition into broader development agendas.
