Journal Submission Guidelines

The STRATI Journal of Environment, Climate, and Sustainability is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to advancing interdisciplinary research and policy discourse on environmental management, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and sustainable development pathways.

The journal serves as a platform for researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and civil society to exchange evidence-based insights on the interactions between environmental systems, climate dynamics, and socioeconomic development. It encourages submissions that integrate natural sciences, social sciences, technology, and governance perspectives to address the complex and interlinked challenges of environmental degradation, climate risks, and sustainability transitions.

With a strong emphasis on applied and policy-relevant research, the journal promotes studies that support the development of resilient ecosystems, low-carbon economies, and inclusive sustainable development strategies across local, national, and global scales.

The Journal aims to:

  • Foster multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary scholarship on environment, climate, and sustainability issues.
  • Strengthen the link between research evidence and environmental/climate policy design.
  • Advance understanding of climate risks, adaptation and mitigation strategies, and sustainability transitions.
  • Provide a forum for innovative solutions that integrate ecological conservation, climate resilience, and socio-economic equity.
  • Support capacity building for climate-resilient planning and sustainable resource use.

The scope includes conceptual, empirical, and methodological contributions addressing environmental change and its governance, the climate–development nexus, and the pathways to achieve sustainable development and net-zero targets.
