Journal Submission Guidelines

The STRATI Journal of Agricultural Biotechnology is a peer-reviewed, international journal dedicated to publishing original research, reviews, and innovations in the field of agricultural biotechnology. The journal provides a platform for scientists, researchers, and industry experts to share advancements in the application of biotechnological tools and techniques to improve crop productivity, enhance resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses, and promote sustainable agriculture. It emphasizes the integration of molecular biology, genetic engineering, and bioinformatics with traditional agricultural practices to address global food security and environmental challenges.

The journal aims to:

  • Promote high-quality research and innovation in agricultural biotechnology.
  • Facilitate the development and dissemination of biotechnological tools that improve crop and livestock production.
  • Support studies focused on genetic improvement, pest and disease management, and stress tolerance using biotechnological approaches.
  • Encourage interdisciplinary research linking biotechnology with sustainable agricultural practices and environmental conservation.
  • Provide a forum for discussions on ethical, regulatory, and socio-economic aspects of agricultural biotechnology.

The scope includes but is not limited to:

  • Genetic engineering and genome editing of crops and livestock.
  • Molecular marker-assisted breeding and genomics.
  • Plant tissue culture, micropropagation, and cloning.
  • Bioinformatics and computational biology applications in agriculture.
  • Biopesticides, biofertilizers, and microbial biotechnology.
  • Transgenic crops and trait improvement.
  • Abiotic and biotic stress management using biotech tools.
  • Ethical, legal, and social implications of agricultural biotechnology.
