Dr. Asmi Raza is Professor of Economics at the University of Delhi with over three decades of teaching, research, and policy experience. A Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, he specializes in international trade, food security, regional economic integration, and sustainable development. He has served as Honorary Economic Advisor to ASSOCHAM, FICCI, and the World Trade Centre, Mumbai, and as a member of several national and international committees, including the UNDP Global Advisory Committee on Governance and the Government of India’s Committee on Agrarian Relations. Professor Raza has authored multiple books and over fifty peer-reviewed research papers on food security, trade, energy, and digital finance. He is also the Chief Editor of Indian Dominion, an international monthly magazine. His research and advisory work continue to influence economic policy, trade strategy, and food security initiatives across South Asia and beyond.
