Dr. Yogesh Ranjit is an Associate Professor at the Central Department of Economics, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental and Economic Impact of Participatory Forest Management from the University of Jammu, India. With over three decades of academic and research experience, his expertise spans monetary and financial economics, governance, environmental economics, and participatory forest management. Dr. Ranjit coordinates the Master’s Programme in Governance and Anti-Corruption Studies at Tribhuvan University and serves as Executive Editor of The Economic Journal of Nepal. His scholarly contributions include numerous publications on forest management, climate change, macroeconomics, and sustainable development. He has participated in international academic programs in India, China, Bangladesh, Thailand, Hong Kong, Australia, Great Britain, and the United States. Professor Ranjit continues to play a leading role in advancing environmental-economic research and capacity development in Nepal and South Asia.
