Dr. Farrukh Khakimov is Head of the Department for Monitoring and Analyzing Reforms in the Fields of Security and Foreign Policy at the Development Strategy Center (DSC), Uzbekistan. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, and an International Master’s degree jointly awarded by the University of Glasgow and Zhejiang University. Prior to joining DSC, he lectured at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and worked with the Academy of Public Administration and the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies. His research focuses on regionalism, geopolitics, and digital transformation in Central Asia. Dr. Khakimov has authored numerous academic articles and actively contributes to international conferences and policy dialogues on regional cooperation and digital governance.
