Journal Submission Guidelines

The STRATI Journal of Agricultural Water Management and Irrigation is a peer-reviewed, international journal dedicated to publishing original research, reviews, and innovations in the field of agricultural water management and irrigation technology. The journal serves as a platform for scientists, engineers, agronomists, and water resource managers to share knowledge and advances aimed at improving water use efficiency, sustainable irrigation practices, and integrated water resource management in agriculture. It emphasizes solutions that address water scarcity, climate change impacts, and the need for sustainable agricultural productivity.

The journal aims to:

  • Promote high-quality research and technological innovations in agricultural water management and irrigation.
  • Facilitate dissemination of knowledge on efficient water use, irrigation scheduling, and water-saving technologies.
  • Support studies that integrate hydrology, agronomy, and engineering for sustainable water management.
  • Encourage interdisciplinary research addressing water conservation, climate resilience, and policy frameworks.
  • Provide a forum for discussions on challenges and solutions related to water scarcity and agricultural productivity.

The scope includes but is not limited to:

  • Irrigation system design, evaluation, and management.
  • Water use efficiency and irrigation scheduling techniques.
  • Surface, subsurface, and drip irrigation technologies.
  • Rainwater harvesting and supplemental irrigation.
  • Water quality and soil-water-plant relationships.
  • Integrated water resource management and watershed management.
  • Climate change impacts and adaptation in irrigation systems.
  • Policy, governance, and socio-economic aspects of agricultural water management.
