Professor Bharat Singh is the Principal of Zakir Husain Delhi College (Evening), University of Delhi, with over 34 years of teaching experience. He holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, and M.A. and B.A. (Hons.) degrees from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi University. Formerly Professor in the Department of Economics, Satyawati College (Evening), he has published 25 research papers in reputed national and international journals, authored four books and one book chapter, and delivered over two dozen lectures and presentations at academic forums. He has completed two University of Delhi–sponsored research projects and convened a Refresher Course in Economics at CPDHE. His academic interests include Indian and international economic issues, manpower restructuring, labour markets, and agriculture–industry linkages. Prof. Singh is a life member of several professional bodies, including the Indian Economic Association and the Indian Journal of Labour Economics.
