Professor N. Panchanatham is the Vice Chancellor of Gandhigram Rural Institute (Deemed to be University), Tamil Nadu, and a distinguished academic leader with over 34 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience. He previously served as Vice Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University and Registrar of Annamalai University. A scholar with multiple postgraduate degrees and a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour, Prof. Panchanatham has authored 75 books, published over 450 research papers, and guided 65 Ph.D. scholars. His international engagements span 62 countries as visiting or extraordinary professor at leading global universities. A recipient of more than 50 national and international awards, he has also played key roles in UGC, NAAC, AICTE, and MHRD committees, contributing significantly to higher education policy, institutional development, and leadership in India and abroad.
